Businesses, don’t you fill in forms? Or do you live like a hermit? Obviously it’s not the product that needs to be banned, the organisations that misuse our personal data. It’s a stupid thing to ask for bans for such devices. Either way, what you’re doing, it’ll never happen. Yup, NEVER.

If this was impletemented in a club, would it be able to detect a double entry from different IDs belonging to the same person? For example, a driving license and a passport.

888records’s comment is ridiculous! The system reads all Australian DLs and some other form of identity cards. It reads all US DLs, and most European IDs/DLs as well as all passports at over 99% accuracy. this is very basic ….we tested it several years ago in australia we found the au driver license was correctly enrolled and returned false age test results by reading the day as the month field… the system is pre 2k …. we currently use l1 identity solutions id authentication system as in use in most airports … real cost for such systems are upwards of 50k
